Latta Campus Book Fair is HERE!

The PTA Sponsored Bedford Falls Book Fair is coming to Latta Campus, Oct 23-27. Feel free to preview Bedford Falls Book Fair website – https://bedfordfallsusa.com/shop/. All students at the Latta Campus will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair during the school week. See the classroom schedule below! We also encourage our families to visit the Book Fair with their children during Culture Night, Oct 26th, 4-6pm. They can purchase books and also meet the author Erika Ferrara Lopez, a local Charlotte author who will be signing copies of her book “The Adventures of Amazing Grace,” a story for 3-5th graders with themes about overcoming fears, positive friendships, Spanish culture and a dash of magical realism. 

Bedford Falls Book Fair now has a means of parents placing funds on an account for students to use.  It’s called kidCredit.  Click here for KidCredit FAQ and click here to add money via kidCredit for the Book Fair.  You can even donate funds for your child’s teacher to purchase a book! Unused funds will be returned to you, unless you tell them to do otherwise.  We will also accept credit cards and checks, and will have some funds to make change for cash purchases.  All checks should be written out to Dilworth PTA. 

Note: As we navigate the new Parents Bill of Rights, we ask that you reach out to us if you have any concerns. We will be limiting the book selections seen on the website to grade level/age appropriate for the book fair.

Volunteers are needed all week! Please consider helping, even for a short 2 hour block! Click Here to volunteer.

La Feria de Libro en Latta esta aquí!- 23-27 de Octubre

 La Feria de Libros Bedford Falls patrocinado por el PTA viene a 23-27 deOctubre . ¡Motivamos a nuestros familias para visitar la Feria de Libros con sus niños durante la Noche de las Culturas, 26th de Octubre, 4-6pm. Pueden comprar libros y también conocer a la autora Erika Ferrara López, una autora local de Charlotte que firmará copias de su libro “Las aventuras de Amazing Grace”, una historia para estudiantes de 3 a 5º grado con temas sobre cómo superar miedos, amistades positivas y español. cultura y un toque de realismo mágico.

La Feria de Libros Bedford Falls ahora tiene una manera que los padres pueden poner fondos en una cuenta para el uso del alumno. Se llama Kid Credit. Información de KidCredit también está aquí ,y se enviará un enlace para agregar dinero la semana anterior a la Feria del Libro . ¡Aún puede donar fondos para que el maestro de su hijo compre un libro! Los fondos que no se usan serán regresados a usted, a menos que les diga que hagan lo contrario. Aceptamos tarjetas crédito, junto con dinero efectivo y cheques. Todos los cheques se deben escribir a nombre del Dilworth PTA.
